Brock Harcourts’ own Mark Forde has recently been responsible for the sale of “one of South Australia’s most revered wine industry properties” (The Advertiser) – the Hickinbotham Vineyard at Clarendon.
The 168ha property, referred to by international wine critic Robert Parker as “one of the world’s greatest wine estates” includes two magnificent homes, as well as award-winning plantings of Shiraz, Grenache and Cabernet.
The estate has been bought for an estimated $10 million by US based wine company Jackson Family Wines, with Mark saying that the price paid has “much more in common with the wine industry’s better times than the prevailing market.”
